Frequently Asked Questions

How can I see your bridal gowns in person?

Appointments are required so that we may give our undivided attention and give you full access to all the gowns and accessories within the salon. We want your time at our elegant boutique to be relaxed, memorable and productive. During your 90-minute appointment, you will work closely with an experienced, professional consultant who is knowledgeable and dedicated to helping you turn your dress dreams into a reality. Contact us to book an appointment.

How much do your wedding dresses cost?

We carry a variety of price points within our salon; our dresses range in price from $1,000 to $5,000.

What sizes do you carry?

The One Bridal Salon carries a variety of sample size gowns ranging from size 8 to size 22. We appreciate that wedding dress shopping may require a bit of imagination when the sample size dress does not fit you perfectly. Your consultant will use some tricks of the trade to help you visualize how you will look in the dress.

When should I plan on ordering my bridal gown?

With all the planning that goes into making your wedding day perfect, remember to leave enough time for ordering your dress. Most custom-made wedding dresses can take anywhere from 4-6 months to arrive after ordering. Rush orders are possible, with some designers, but this may incur an additional charge.

How do I pay for my weddng dress?

Payment for your beautiful new bridal gown is required in full at the time that your dress is ordered. Orders will not be placed until full payment (cash or credit card) is received. Please note that all purchases are final; we cannot accept cancellations or returns on any dress.

How often do you receive new bridal gowns?

Designers offer new wedding dress collections two times per year, in the spring and the fall. We add to our dress collections throughout the year, so check in with us often.

What is a loaner dress?

Sometimes when brides are looking at wedding dresses on designer's websites, they see a particular dress that they fall in love with and want to try. If we carry the designer, we may be able to get the dress to the shop as a loaner. Be sure to ask when scheduling your appointment if you have a particular dress in mind. Please note that there is a $75.00 charge to secure the loaner dress for your appointment. Should you purchase any dress from our salon, that fee will be waived.

Do you offer alterations?

We do offer in house alterations and recommend scheduling them through us about 8 weeks prior to your weddding day. Unfortunately we do not offer alterations for brides who piurchased their gowns at another salon but can provide you with some names of our trusted seamstresses.

Questions about Your Appointment

What do I need to know before booking my appointment?

When booking your appointment, please have a couple of dates in mind so that we can best accommodate you. Please share the type or style of gowns you are interested in (if you already know), as well as your budget, and feel free to share any pictures of gowns that you like. If you are unable to keep your appointment for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible so that we may open up that appointment time and accommodate someone else. Download and print our info sheet to learn everything you need to know before your appointment. Ready to book? Contact us and we'll find some time for you to come in to our store.

Who should I bring to my appointment?

We recommend bringing two to three family members or friends whose opinions you trust and whose input you value. We strongly discourage bringing children under the age of 12 to your appointment. Young children will get bored during the appointment and the salon is not a safe place for little ones. If you are bringing a large group or need special assistance for any reason, please let us know ahead of time so we can make appropriate arrangements.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Bring any pictures or Pinterest boards of dresses that you love or would like to try, an open mind and a sense of adventure.

What should I wear to my appointment?

We ask that all brides come wearing undergarments that reflect what you may be wearing on your wedding day, such as strapless bra, Spanx, etc. Nude colors are best. Remember that the bridal consultant will be helping you in and out of the gowns, so wear undergarments that you are comfortable in. Please do not wear heavy make-up or spray tans as we want to protect our sample dresses..

What can I expect?

You'll be working closely with a bridal consultant who will spend time talking with you about your vision for your wedding day. You'll have the opportunity to try on as many gowns and accessories as you like during your 90-minute consultation and will enjoy a memorable, stress-free, relaxed shopping experience in our charming boutique.
